WETHER YOU JUST WANT TO KEEP FIT OR COMPETE THROUGHOUT AYRSHIRE AND SCOTLAND, NORTH AYRSHIRE AC WELCOMES AND ENCOURAGES ALL YOUNGSTERS AND SENIORS TO TAKE PART IN THE FUN AND COMPETITIVE SPORT OF ATHLETICS

ABOUT US

Welcome to the newly formed North Ayrshire Athletics Club, catering for young athletes, seniors and beginners for the sport of athletics. The newly formed club is linked well with North Ayrshire Council, KA Leisure and also local schools and hopes to promote and elevate athletics in North Ayrshire. North Ayrshire AC will cater for all athletics events, RUNNING (beginners, endurance and speed), JUMPS (Long Jump, Triple Jump, Hurdles, Pole Vault and High Jump), THROWS (Javelin, Discuss, Hammer and Shot). This will include Track and Field, Indoor Track and Field, Cross-Country, Road Racing, and Hill Racing.

The club has a great number of specialised coaches and there are “extra training” sessions for anyone who wants to achieve their potential, like Event Focused Sessions, Core, Plyometrics sessions, Circuit Training, Strength Training and strength & conditioning.

HOW TO JOIN NORTH AYRSHIRE ATHLETICS CLUBTo join the newly formed North Ayrshire Athletics club, simply fill in the membership form and and hand to any of the coaches or post to the membership secretary. Please make cheques payable to “North Ayrshire AC”, click the link below to download the membership form.

CLUB TRAINING NIGHTS (At KA Campus, St Mathews Academy) Mondays         7pm – 8.30pm (Speed, Speed Endurance) (Core, Long Jump, High Jump & Hurdles)
Tuesdays        6pm – 7pm      (Endurance based sessions for Endurence and Sprint athletes)
Thursdays       7pm – 8.30pm (Main training night, Endurence, Sprints, Jumps & Throws)
Sundays         11am - 1pm (Field Events, Core, Strength and Conditioning)
