SUMMER CHAMPIONSHIP

The summer championship will start from 1st March - 1st September and will cover all/most track and feild events. Including Nationals, Ayrshire, West District, Ayrshire Schools, Scottish Schools. However the championship will NOT cover the North Ayrshire Schools Track and Feild championship and Indoors season this year.

All athletes must compete for the club regularly and have competed at least 5 times for the Summer season to be eligible for the Summer Championship. All athletes must compete in 3 different track & Feild events to be eligible.

With this in mind, the club championship will be based on the results of every athlete. The top 3 performances will be put against a points system, the athlete with the most points wins the club championship. There will be trophies for the top 3 in each age group male and female and certificates for all athletes showing there performance and points total. Also based on the points total EVERY athlete will get either a Gold, Silver, Bronze or Blue award. Please keep your coaches informed of all your results and any personal bests during this period. At the end of the season all the race results will be collected and analysed and the club championship calculated. A presentation will be held during christmas for the Summer Championship

There will also be "spot prizes" for outstanding acheivements or reconition from the North Ayrshire coaches. for example, Male Athlete of the Year, Female Athlete of the Year, Most Improved, Outstanding Athlete Award, Best Newcomer, Showing Most Potential. These will be decided by the North Ayrshire senior coaches.
